CONTRIBUTE TO THE NEWARK POLICE FOUNDATION
The partnership between the Newark Police Department and the Newark Police Foundation is investing in programs that are keeping the City of Newark safe. Some tangible results of public support - through the Foundation - for the NPD will include:
- Crimes solved through tips to Crime Stoppers & Guns Stoppers
- Arrests for possession of illegal guns through calls to the Gun Stop hotline
- Strengthening counter terrorism strategies with intelligence gathered by detectives assigned to the International Liaison Program in cities around the world
- Applying state-of-the-art technology to crime fighting through innovations

The Newark Police Foundation is part of the Community Foundation of New Jersey. Families, businesses, and communities establish funds with the Community Foundation to help them achieve their charitable goals at minimal cost. Donations are designated into these funds by donors, and grants are made from the fund in accordance with its charitable purpose.
